She participated in a course with Landmark Education (www.landmarkeducation.com) and created this project inside of a leadership program. The event is a kick-a-thon held on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. raising money for amputee children who need prosthetic limbs but cannot afford them. To date the annual fundraiser has collected over $115,000 to benefit the Limbs for Life Foundation (www.limbsforlife.org) and provided enough funding to help at least 45 amputee children run, jump, kick and play!
